Healthy Eating:
A diet high in fruits and vegetables helps to reduce calorie intake and may help to control weight.

  • Choose a variety of fruits and vegetables each day.
  • Add healthier vending machine and cafeteria food choices.
  • Support an on-site farmers market once a month.
  • Hand out informational sheets to all employees explaining the benefits of healthy eating.

Physical Activity:
Employees gain additional health benefits by adding moderate amounts of activity to their daily routines.

  • Take the stairs to your office or meeting room.
  • Park at the furthest row in the parking lot.
  • Do a few lunges to the copier and back. So you look funny, who cares, at least you will be strong. 
  • Start employee activity clubs (walking, biking, etc.)
